It has dark rum and coffee liqueur instead of brandy and offers a depth of flavor that’s both complex and satisfying. It blends rum’s robustness, the sweet notes of chocolate from the crème de cacao, and the coffee-infused richness of coffee liqueuer all smoothed together with cream.

Ingredients

Method
- In a cocktail shaker, pour 1 1/2 oz dark rum, 1 oz creme de cacao, 1 oz Kahlua, and 1 oz cream. Give it a dry shake.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass like a coupe or martini glass.
- Lightly grate nutmeg over the top for a fragrant finish.
