Emerald Isle Cocktail
This Emerald Isle cocktail is a mint and gin cocktail with a beautiful emerald color from crème de menthe. It’s a fantastic after-dinner cocktail or one to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
The Emerald Isle is a gin cocktail with a splash of bitters and a small amount of crème de menthe. This minty touch makes it quite light and fresh on the palate.
Ingredients

- Gin – 2 oz/ 60ml. This is the base. You can use your gin of choice, but a London dry gin is a high-quality gin infused with botanical flavors through re-distillation.
- Crème de menthe – 1 oz/ 30ml. This provides the color and fresh mint taste.
- Bitters – 2 dashes. To add a bit of floral and bitterness.
- Ice: To chill the cocktail in cocktail shaker.
Method
- Start by chilling a martini glass with ice in it.
- Combine ice, gin, crème de menthe and bitters in a cocktail shaker.
- Stir well until cold. Strain the cocktail into the martini glass.

Instructions
